Lamborghini does not make supercars, but remakes masks

After many fashion boutique industries (for example: LV, Dior ... etc.) have solved the manufacture of anti-epidemic related products, Lamborghini should also respond to the ranks of the anti-Japanese war and convert the department of the super sports car production plant to produce surgical masks and acrylic glass protection cover. The mask will be donated to the Sant'Orsola-Malpighi hospital in Bologna, Italy, to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The work of this unity plan will be carried out by Lamborghin's personnel responsible for the interior and professional customization department, producing 1,000 masks per day. In addition, using the carbon fiber production line and the 3D printing machine in the research and development department, 200 sets of high-quality medical protective covers will be produced every day.

The event has been approved and supported by the government unit of the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy, and is being carried out in cooperation with the University of Bologna. Its medical and surgical science department will be responsible for the production of Lamborghini Verification tests of medical supplies before being sent to the hospital.

Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Lamborghin, said, "In an emergency, we feel the need to make a specific contribution. S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital is an institution with many years of cooperation with us, through professional consultation to promote the protection of employee health plans and Research projects. We will work together to support the people who are at the forefront of this pandemic war every day to win this battle together.

In addition, the historic Lamborghin headquarters building of Sant'Agata Bolognese is illuminated with the three colors of the Italian flag every night, which is a symbol of the unity and support of the entire country in the face of the emergency of the new crown virus.
