The global nonwoven industry is experiencing impressive growth, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) exceeding 8.7%. Thailand leads the regional market with a market share of 48% and an annual production capacity of 162,000 tons. The Thai textile sector is undergoing transformation to align with modern demands, emphasizing innovation, advanced technologies, and value-added product development while staying committed to sustainability.

Nonwovens are a promising and high-potential industry, with a global market value of USD 50.33 billion in 2023, projected to reach USD 148.87 billion by 2036, driven by a CAGR of over 8.7%. Made from bio-based materials, nonwovens help reduce plastic waste and support the principles of a circular economy. With further support, Thailand is poised to become the production and export hub of the nonwoven industry in Southeast Asia.
