Formosa Taffeta (1434-TW) General Manager Li Min-Chang indicated that next year's outdoor apparel customers show strong growth potential, likely driving a 10-15% year-on-year increase in long fiber fabric shipments. Eclat Textile (4438-TW) Chairman Wu Chao-Pen is similarly optimistic about the growth momentum of outdoor and sports customers, forecasting high double-digit revenue growth next year. Li Min-Chang believes that consumer spending power will be slightly better next year, with autumn and winter products for 2025 already showing signs of recovery. This year, long woven fabrics have grown by about 8-10%, and next year's growth momentum is expected to be better, targeting 10-15%. Among customer segments, outdoor activities exhibit the strongest growth, followed by leisure and sports, which should perform no worse than this year.
Wu Chao-Pen also expressed optimism, noting that the Federal Reserve's decision to lower interest rates has led to "more positive" orders from customers. Currently, visibility of orders on hand extends to the second quarter of next year. Revenue for the fourth quarter of this year is expected to set a new historical high for the same period, with high double-digit growth projected for next year. Wu pointed out that outdoor brand customers like Patagonia and The North Face are recovering quickly, with double-digit order growth. For sports brand customers, Adidas is rebounding from a low point, and Lululemon's order volume is increasing quarterly. Customers like New Balance and Under Armour are also expected to see double-digit growth next year. However, Nike remains uncertain and requires further observation.
