Focusing on low-carbon manufacturing, inviting 70 international brand buyers to Taiwan.

The 28th Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) to Showcase Sustainable and Innovative Textiles

Taipei, Taiwan – The 28th Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), scheduled for October 15-17 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, is set to gather 385 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, occupying 990 booths. Organized by the Textile Industry Research Institute (TIRI), the event is expected to attract nearly 70 international brand buyers from 14 key markets for over 800 procurement meetings with 185 Taiwanese textile manufacturers.

As global inflation eases and economic prospects brighten post-rate cuts, the uncertainties in the consumer market are diminishing. This positive outlook has created favorable conditions for Taiwanese textile manufacturers to connect with international buyers.

A Showcase of Taiwan's Textile Excellence

TITAS will feature leading Taiwanese textile manufacturers, including Formosa Plastics Corporation, Far Eastern New Century Corporation, Lih Chih Group, Jisheng, Yihsin, Ruei Hung, Hualon Group, Hao Fang, Shin Kong Synthetic Fibers, Chanson, Nan-Wei, Hsing-Cai, Jia Fang, Hung Yuan, Fu Ying, Everlight Chemical, and Tai Tang. In addition, textile machinery manufacturers such as Bailong, Taiwan Oshima, Takahashi, and Qihe Technology, as well as various textile associations and research institutions, will also participate.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Technology Bureau will establish a dedicated R&D to showcase the latest technological achievements in advanced textiles, digital textiles, and green textiles by research institutions such as the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Textile Research Institute, TIRI, and the Footwear and Leather Research Institute.

A Focus on Sustainability and Innovation

In line with the global trend toward circular economy and sustainability, TITAS has become a premier sourcing hub for green textiles in Asia. This year, the show will feature national pavilions from Ishikawa Prefecture Fiber Association and Fukui Prefecture Fiber Association of Japan, as well as the Daegu Gyeongbuk Textile Industry Association of Korea. Overseas exhibitors such as American Cotton, Taiwan Central Cotton Union, CHT, Polygiene, Organoclick, ZSK, VIET STAR, and JB RPET will also showcase their latest technologies, products, and solutions.

The three core themes of TITAS—sustainability, functional applications, and smart manufacturing—align with global textile industry trends. Exhibitors have developed high-performance textiles for health, sports, and medical applications, featuring recyclable materials, agricultural waste, and functionalities such as high elasticity, moisture wicking, and waterproofness. Furthermore, exhibitors are leveraging big data, IoT, and AI technologies to provide global brands with low-carbon, high-quality, and traceable solutions.

Promoting Sustainability and Innovation

To address the pressing challenges of climate change and achieve the 2050 net-zero carbon emissions goal, TITAS will host 13 seminars featuring top domestic and international experts in green textile materials and applications, sustainable textile innovation and circular technologies, artificial intelligence in textile apparel, new trends in the green textile industry, and the future of the Taiwanese textile industry. These seminars will facilitate knowledge exchange and drive technological innovation in the Taiwanese textile industry.

The exhibition will also feature new product launches and dynamic shows, including a "Sustainable Fashion Show," a UCOM new product launch, and fashion trend presentations by the Hosiery Industry Association and the Wool Industry Association.

TITAS provides an excellent platform for industry professionals to stay updated on the latest market trends and technological advancements. All are welcome to attend.
