Shoemaking, textile alliance to show smart solutions

The Foreign Trade Association has gathered 13 upstream, midstream and downstream supply chains, including shoemaking machines and textile machinery, through cross-industry alliances. Yesterday at the "India Taiwan Image Exhibition", Taiwan released a number of applications such as smart and efficient solutions in shoemaking and textile processes, seizing business opportunities arising from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan to build India into a global manufacturing center.

Modi announced his third term in June and expressed his hope for close bilateral cooperation to Chinese President Lai Ching-te on social media. With the help of the Trade Association, the Textile Industry Association and the Federation of Indian Textile Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Taiwan Image Exhibition to launch a strategic alliance in technology and related services for textile trade and investment.

Jiang Wenruo, Director of the Trade Department, said that India is the world's second largest manufacturer of footwear and textiles. Benefiting from the fermentation of "China plus one" in the global supply chain, India has become a new production base for relocation, coupled with the domestic demand of a population of 1.4 billion The market is one of the important sales markets for Taiwan's Minsheng Chemical-related products. Therefore, the Trade Department has launched cross-industry alliances, industrial linkage emerging markets and other practices to target machinery, shoemaking, textile and other industries for joint marketing and promotion.

In this exhibition, the Trade Association also used "smart manufacturing" to promote Taiwan's advanced shoemaking machines, textile machines and other industrial advantageous equipment, demonstrating Taiwan's strong upstream, midstream and downstream supply chains, focusing on meeting India's huge manufacturing business opportunities and helping to achieve " Make in India policy vision.

The smart and low-carbon one-stop solution presented by the Textile Exhibition has attracted the attention of the Federation of Indian Textile Industry, the Indian Textile Association, the Indian Footwear Industry Federation, the Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association, and the Indian Footwear Parts Manufacturers. Association, the German Plastics Polymer Machinery Association and six other major Indian companies visited and negotiated.
