Taiwan's textile industry showcased its robust research and development capabilities at the Première Vision in Paris, highlighting its commitment to sustainability before the upcoming Olympic Games.
Supported by the Trade Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Textile Industry Association and Taiwanese companies presented “INNOVATION TAIWAN” on the global stage. The focus was on sustainable materials, carbon footprint reduction, and green design, promoting renewable energy and waste reduction through impactful themed displays. This aligns with both the Paris Olympics' and Première Vision's sustainability goals, enhancing Taiwan’s international influence in sustainable fashion.
As a key supplier of sustainable functional textiles for the Paris Olympics, Taiwan provides materials, professional design, and services for major sports events. The exhibition featured sustainable fashion products, solutions for carbon footprint reduction, and initiatives to promote renewable energy, waste reduction, and pollution control. This fosters a sustainable future for the fashion value chain.
The “INNOVATION TAIWAN” area in Hall 6, featured six leading Taiwanese companies, including Runtai and Heming Textile. On July 12, a themed forum, "INNOVATION TAIWAN - Sustainability + Innovation," attracted 600 visitors, including brands like Hugo Boss and NIKE, showcasing Taiwan's strong R&D and innovation. Future business opportunities are anticipated.
